Zoa Grow Out Contest Tracking Thread

Well thats odd. It shows two of my pics and the other two as attachments even though I used the same insert image command in the toolbar. Furthermore I cant edit a post after apparently a short period of time nor delete a post at all? My apologies for having to click the jpg links.

They went into all the books and crannies...these were the best photos without me sticking phone in water.

I think we need to finish this up :). Let's assume all the pics are in.

Really amazing growth guys. Impressive to say the least!

Please post your vote on the thread. I can bring the frag to the next meeting, you can come here, or I can meet you at a LFS.

Thanks

My vote is for @odlc84. Excellent growth and pictures.

A little tip for everyone:
Click on Media > Contests > Zoa Grow Out Contest >Then click on everyone's folder individually and take a look at the first and last photo

Alright its pretty close imo. I think Steve and Omar both win. I don't have two black widows but I do have equivalent stuff. So come on by and get your prizes :)

Thank you everyone for your participation! We'll do something similar shortly.

I think it was mentioned for the winners to list their equipment and tank parameters. I have :
72 gallon bowfront
DIY 20long sump w/Chaeto
Cor20 return pump @ 570gph w/2 returns split to 4 loclines
2 very old Radion G3s
2 4' Actinic Blue T5s added @2 weeks in
2 Apex controlled Jebao PP8s on 5 second alternate pulse

Instant Ocean salt - 20% change bi-weeky
Alkalinity @160-185ppm
Calcium @450-465
Phosphate @.05-.12

I started them on the bottom, probably about 100-110 PAR, moved up gradually over 2 weeks to @160-170
Target fed Reef Chili @ 2/week

Wow! Pretty cool. I completely forgot to vote lol. Thanks @FutureInterest for your generosity.

Old red sea max 250 that I made rimless. Tunze 9004 drawing a cup of coffee a week. Still running one of the factory sponges rinsed every few days. Carbon and purigen. 2 cheap 800gph powerheads.

Tank params are as follows from most recent test:
Alk: 8.2
Cal: 450
Mag: 1380
Phos: don't have a test for it yet

Kalk in the ato water with aquavitro fule twice a week.

Target feed a few different things when I feed the suns and dendros every few days.

No water changes as of yet. Tank is 6-7 months old.

Running @bcavalli old reef breeder photon v1 @ 50% blues and 25% whites at its peak. Frags are on a rack ~15" under the lights. The tomahawks are starting to get a bit out of control.
