So you have $100 in your pocket and looking for a single VERY colorful coral what would it be? Oh and you already have a lot of Acros so most of the softies are out. It doesn't have to be anything rare either just colorful.

My next spensive coral. It's 80.00 for a small frag. Atlantis has some great stuff!!!

I went to PR and wasn't that impressed actually. I think I was expecting too much.

Take your money online and check out: http://www.reefermadness.us/RM-Hand-Picked.htm">http://www.reefermadness.us/RM-Hand-Picked.htm</a>

Reefer Madness has some great stuff and on top of that, their handpicked stuff is amazing.

I like to sit and drool over the cool things I would love to have, only to realize that I am poor and can't afford any of them.

I would take your money and give it to me and I could buy a cool coral. And then later on, I could give you a frag of it.

Sounds good to me.

GO to Cap. Bay. I spent $100.00 on a coral there. Beautiful Acro but it definatly had no chance keeping its color under my lights but its healthy!

I myself have been acquiring some nicer acros as time goes on, and clearing others out that seem bland. Any really nice tabling hyancithus will blow your mind....just the coolest thing to mount one to the side of a rock and they grow right out the side..just hanging there. Beware of wild colonies, color is iffy and so is health of the coral.

Acanthastrea Lordhowensis is the way to go. There are lots of awesome color morphs...but they are very pricy. If you get a non indo one, you might only be able to get a few polyps at most.
a> Both of those sites have some very very nice pieces...

How about a sunset monti? I saw the two frags Melissa had a while back, and they're phenomenal! Probably the coolest color combination I've ever seen in a coral.

Don't know how compatible it is yet, but I really like this one:

Very nice. just feed it once a day and it will be happy! Also they like a shaded area. Maybe under a Monti cap. I have always wanted one orange polyp so I could see if I could grow a whole colony.

Monti from reefermadness.us and the Cappuccino Bay Live girl....long lost cousins???

And thus Chris was renamed: "The Hi-Jacker".

I'm j/k. :stupid:

They are pretty freaky looking though.

Micro's from Patrick aka pnguye3 said. I don't know if $100 will get you far at jendub or thecaptivereef

I actually found someone willing to cut a deal on these acro frags for $199 shipped!
Aquarium City Red Millie
Bali Tri-color
Lime In the Sky Tenuis
Ice Chille Tenius

That is a little more than $100, but a good deal.

Add Reefready.net and FragFarmer.com to the list.

The girl is a mermaid... maybe she has been swimming thru too much seaweed?

Not sure about a guy who's mad about reefing, though. ;)

Hello. I agree with the Acan Lord or Micro route. However from Jendub and thecaptivereef $100 will not get you maybe 1 polyp. I have several Lords and Micros from both of them. Don't get me wrong they are very nice and the experiences were good but they are verrrry expensive corals. As for Reefermadness you might want to check out a very long thread on them in the vendor experiences forum on RC. They have a good reputation but many folks that have bought from them are accusing them of extreme photoshoping.

Washowi please let us know how it turns out. I am considering ordering from them and would like to know your experience. As a follow up to my last post I would NOT recommend the "Non Indo" Acan Lords that you see on some of these sites if you are an impatient person. They look nice but they are very slow growers. I have some that I have had for a few months that have not put out any new polyps or grown much. The reading that I have done on these indicates that some of these will maybe put out a polyp a year. On the other hand Micros grow pretty fast.
