Looking for suggestions on what to buy for 2 part dosing the old fashion manual way. What should i buy? I would eventually move to automating this, however, the funds aren't there. So with that in mind, what should i get? I have heard of B-Ionic 2 part? Is this the same as 2 part dosing? I have a 90 gallon system and a very light bio load and no SPS at the moment.

You can get the Brs 2 part. I have everything you need in the gallon sizes brand new for $70.00 if your interested

If you do not have much SPS or other things that require calcium and do regular water changes I would say that you may not even need to dose. I would test every few days for a few weeks and see what your needs are. Odds are you can save money and do nothing.

What does this include? Seems kind of high unless I am missing something. The calcium and alkalinity mix and then the magnesium mix plus what?

Mag Chloride, mag sulfate, soda ash, calcium and mixing jugs all in the gallon sizes

Check out Randy Holmes farley 2 part alkalinity recipe on the internet and save the money you would spend on chemicals by mixing them yourself to purchase 2 peristallic pumps to automate. I use his recipe and have been for over a year now. Works great.

Yea I'm not looking to dose anytime soon, just trying to get a feel for a price range so I can put it in my budget over the next couple of months. That way when I am ready to buy the money is set aside.

I dose Kent Tech CB Part A and B and have for many years. In the beginning I tested and dosed accordingly but now pretty much know how much of each to dose each day to keep Alk abd Calc in line. Also as mentioned your Magnesium must be in line also to keep your calcium up.
