2017 Coral Aquatics Expo - April 15th

I've officially added the event to our FB page. We've been increasing traction as of late, and I'm going to be making a big push to get people involved, as well as get some advertising running.

We all have a hand in getting this to be a success, so I have a few requests:

If you haven't subscribed to ARC on Facebook yet, please join, and if you plan to attend the event, mark yourself as such on the event page. If you have friends or family who would like to come, urge them to do the same.

From a vendor perspective, a rich attending crowd is what makes the expo "worth it", and from an attendee perspective, a rich vendor list does the same.

If at THIS EARLY POINT we can do our part in showing that we will have strong attendance, it will directly affect the turnout on the day of the event!

Great job Walter! If anyone hasn't had the opportunity to add ARC on FaceBook you really need to add us. You will find a lot of great information on reefing and our community.

We will be announcing some of our vendors and sponsors that will be attending very soon! Im incredibly excited!

You guys are doing a great job with this event already!
It wouldn't be bad if it could be a thread starter showing what the vendors will be offering to start getting fat that wallet.

Thankyou Antonio! Ill be announcing our vendors in the next few days and im really excited about what vendors will be attending. It will be double the amount of vendors and attendees that were there last year.

I suppose I could release one of our largest attendees. I'm very proud to announce Neptune systems will be attending. To top it off we will be raffling off an Apex Classic.

Can't wait.. feeling pretty lucky already (might be gas) either way Im sure it will be fun.

This post made me look back at the pics of the coral I bought at last year's show. Here I was thinking most of them did not fare very well - they have multiplied 3 to 5 times in size and have a lot more color than when I got them home, so I guess they are doing ok for my first corals. I will add some more cured rock to my tank next weekend so it is ready to receive more coral after the show.

Maybe one of these days I will get around to setting up one of the other tanks in my garage and have a lot of room for more coral...

Stay tuned as we will announce our vendors and sponsors this week and there may also be a used equipment booth. I have no doubt you will find some amazing deals. :)

I too have been curious about that, trying to figure out how much money to put to the side for this event since it is my first time attending. Also, is everything cash or will there be the ability to pay with card? What about for the raffle tickets and such?

Many, but not all, vendors will take CC for payment. Some may even take PayPal.
Raffle tickets I believe are cash only.

There are a few options:

-There is an ATM machine in the lobby.
-At the door, ARC will be able to accept Credit Cards for non paying members of ARC, AAAA and SCAA (each paying member of one of these three communities will get in free, with proof of your paying membership).
-All non paying members are $10pp and children under 12 are free with a paying member.
-Vendors will be accepting cash and may or may not have the ability to accept credit cards or paypal payments. I do know most will have the ability to accept paypal payments.
