29g Lighting Question

I am sure that this question has been asked before but I am hoping to get some customized answers for my lighting question. I have a 29g bow front with 2 light nova extreme light that is 36 W with an actinic and 10k. I have the lights on a timer and was wondering what you all think would be a good amount of time to keep the lights on?

You sure about the wattage If they are 24" bulbs they should be 24w each. I have a 30" same fixture and I leave my lights on for about 10 hrs with no algae growth.

Yes, the lights are only 18" lights. I know that they are not the proper length but they seem to provide good lighting as the few corals I have in the tank seem to respond well to the light, have not had a par test.

10-12 hours should be fine, you can use your current light on the fuge when you upgrade to the 55
