I had 4 of a360w and 2 blue+ and 2 uv/voilet Orphek light bars, i loved the shimmer and the color with the kessils and i also liked the simplicity of the color control, the Orphek icons have plenty of power for a 36" deep tank and probably alot deeper i just can't get the same color pop or saturation that I had with the kessil's but I had had a ton of grow with them

How big is your tank front to back, mine is 72x36x27 tall

do you feel like the 4 360s were enough or ever feel like you needed more even with the led bars?

I never checked them with a par meter but I think they had plenty of power, they were several years old and the Orphek icon had just released at the time I bought them so I wanted to try something new, but after having both I liked the kessils better, I have checked the Orphek with the par meter and i stay around 60% power at peak intensity of the day

im more concerned with coverage vs par honestly. especially since the 360s are only rated for like 24x24 coverage. ive been leaning towards trying the quata atlas with 2 led bars

That would be great. I’m going to 6 Natura’s over the tank I ordered. I was going to run icons. Would love to see how you mounted yours.

That was my concern also that's why I thought the LED bars would help with dead spots, I am not saying the orphek are bad they have a ton of power and I have never had any issues with them and I honestly stopped messing with the color spectrums several years ago but I am sure with trial and error I could get the color close to the kessils

I used tool box slides so I could service the tank, I believe it is 20x40 aluminum extrusion

i dont mean to hijack this forum, do any of you on here have any idea what this is worth or know anyone who whould want it or some of it?
i dont know how to manage it, its kind of taking over the tank and i want some of the realestate back
