And wow, I want to steal that anthias! What kind/where'd you get him????

Thanks Kelsey..

He's a Lyretail Anthias. I got him from Creation a couple of weeks ago. It's been killing me not to have him in the DT.

PS....I'm dying to see your updates!

Thanks....sooo much. I had him in QT for 2 weeks.

You know i've got a big smile on my face for you. :D I'm thrilled that your finally getting your dream tank built! Good luck tomorrow and hope it all goes well. with Loren there, I don't think you can go wrong.

Ok...I'm finally getting the settings right on the camera and wanted to post some updated pics posted.

Thanks Kelsey. I set the camera up @ 60 F 2.1 w/o flash and used a tripod.

The last pic is a type of leather. I'm pretty happy with it.

I appreciate the comments. Whenever your ready and of course, no rush, i'll have the shroom for you. I think it's like a 2 or 3 head on a small snail shell. If my blues spread, i'll get you one of them as well. They just take longer than the greens for some reason. My purples are doing well but not spreading too much.

Well if a crab claims it, I guess you get the crab as well! It'll be a walking mushroom. :D

It's been four months since my last updates. I have added a new sump and a whole lotta new corals. I have an African cleaner wrasse which is my newest finned addition (about 3 months ago). I'm going to post some new pics here so you can see the changes that have occured.

Thanks for the positive comments. I'm real happy with the progression of it all. The new sump made a big difference versus the old....it keeps my trates in check so much better and is a real nice design.

Thanks Legalreefer....It would be nice to bring the ol' tank back to life. I'm sure someone would like to persue the challenge! :)

Hey Kels...no need to be jealous. Your tank has come along real nice! as for the Anthias, you can keep an Anthias by itself but if you want more than one, you've got to do a trio (1 male/2 fem). I am real glad I decided to do the Anthias'. Very active (playful) and friendly. My other fish include the African cleaner wrasse, yellow watchman with pistol, pair of maroons and a chalk basslet. I got rid of my emerald crabs and went with pom pom's. BTW...You can see my mini carpet nem up on top of the rock by the clam in one or two of the pics.

Very nice tank,

Who is Sal? I keep seeing that name but have no idea who he is..

Phil:up:

Very nice tank, well done. 1st pic what is that encrusting green coral above right of the duncans left of the acro. I have some but do not know the name?

The green coral is a Pagoda Cup. Slow growing but pretty cool.

Thanks again for the positives....
