You might remember me mentioning a few weeks ago that I finally bought a larger tank - moving from 90 to 180. :yay:
Trying to be patient and not rush things - here is what I have so far:
This is the 180 when I bought it. It is Oceanic, custom-made with both overflow in one corner. I think I will really like this - takes up less real estate in the tank. I did not care for the canopy, I will build a new one later - I also did not like the color of the stand.

So I started with sanding the stand and prepping it to paint it white. It is going upstairs in my former dining room. Yes, former - my wife sold the dining room set to make room for my tank. To be honest, we rarely used that area, but I still appreciate it.
You might also remember my questions about support upstairs - 2 contractors agreed that it should be fine. It is sitting on top of a load bearing exterior wall in cement - whew

I used an Apoxy Appliance paint on the inside - I don't really care for it and may yet put something on top of that still.

This part is over - now we had to move it upstairs. Wow, a 180g is VERY heavy. Called on a buddy and my 14 year old son to help.

I have also painted the trim on the tank white. Now to just work on the plumbing and get it going. I guess I will not have it ready before the frag expo but that's ok.
Edit:
Edit: Also, I will be selling my 90g when this is finished - I expect about 2-3 more weeks.
