Which skimmer did you order? And did you get the stock stand? I like the way you set it up, but you are going to miss utilizing some of the space on the backside.

I Got a Reef Octopus XS 200 The stand is the stock one from Marineland. Are you saying put more live rock in back?

No. it looks like all of the LR is in the center of the tank. If you buy yourself a relatively stationary fish (Clowns) they may take up residence on the back side and you will never see them except eating time. The stock stand is a tough one. There will be very little room to get around. Get the largest sump that will fit under there. That will help. Or if the Tank is in a corner, you can put the sump behind the stand. That will allow better access. Additionally, Octopus does not do a good job of foot print description. The pump lines are relatively low on the unit and have to be accounted for. Even though it's not on the floor of the unit, it is low enough to prevent you from fitting it into a sump that has a tight fit. I have a Octopus DNBW 110 recirculating and I had to upgrade my sump. The stated footprint would fit, but I had to account for the pump lines.

I have a Aqueon Pro 3. I will place more rock in the back, I didnt want to over crowd the tank.

I am undecided on if I like the rock in the center or more in the back of the tank. I am a big fan of creating a look that even if an illusion creates depth. I was going with a 37g cube when I got talked into a custom 60g cube but im still tryig to decide how I want the rock. Your tank looms like it is going to be awesome I love cubes

Looking good. How long have you been cycling? What are your params?
Are you going for a reef, fish only or ..........?
