That's a very high possibility. I took the picture off a thread on RC in the LPS forum.

Alot of times you do not have to do anything to chalice picture to get the sparkles but you will barely notice them a foot or two away.

I don't have it, but I have similar stuff. These type pics are nice....but a bit underwhelming in person. And this looks to me like it has had the contrast or saturation played with, like ares said. If you are serious about getting it, PM Beakerbob about it and see if he'd sell you a piece. He sell frags, I believe. He is active on Michigan Reefers.

What Joe and Dave said. Those close up pics always look awesome but to the naked eye you do not see all of the detail.
