Has anyone here had any experience in making an Acrylic sump? I want to make a sump for my 65 gallon that has to fit 26L x 18W x 16H stand. Right now I'm running a 20 gallon sump that I have jerry rigged baffles in to place. I want something to be more permanent and presentable. I have the access to a machine shop and could probably cut the Acrylic myself , its just the glue and all that bothers me. If anyone here has had any experience and could shed some light on if the project is do able or not, I would greatly appreciate it. I also have access to a HOB skimmer so I was wanting to incorporate that into the design so that I wouldn't have to buy a new skimmer or have an eye sore on top of the tank:sick:. Thanks in advance

I will be working with acrylic this week if you would like a tutorial. Will be making an external overflow and an expansion to my existing, diy acrylic, sump. It is not hard.

My house in the evenings near mall of ga. 80 tooth saw blade on a table saw: probably not the best way but it works. I clean up the saw marks before putting eveything together.

Currently working on an overflow. The sump expansion will prob wait till the weekend. You are welcome to come watch.
