I foud one aiptasia polyp and those freakin' thinhs nust have eyes on each tentacle. I have a diabetic family member, so there is no shortage of syringes but can't even get close to it when I come within 3 inches of it. Maybe, it hates needles :lol2:. I heard about this napom or arange orange stuff, any advice and can I use it on my brown button anemones?

You may wanna try coming in from the side. If you block the light when you try to zap'em that may be what triggers their reaction. That's what I do anyway. And you can try it on the button pollyps, but it may take a couple doses to finish the job. A kalk slurry should burn about anything in the tank it touches.

You should also wear a ninja outfit LOL. I agree, try and sneak in from the side not blocking light or flow.

You have to be vewy vewy qwiet.

Or hire some peppermint shrimps to do the deed for you.

I just got a visual of Elmer Fudd in a Ninja costume... (because of the references, not because of you, Tony!)

Too funny.. yes peppermints will work on Aiptasia but not on brown buttons. Why would you get rid of the buttons? Just trade 'em in if you don't want them.

Thank you, then my work is done here.

I was advised by some members to gt rid of them because them will overwhelm the tank. I actually have no problem with them. Thanks

I have some in my tank..not the prettiest things but nice none the less. Some have big green mouths. True they grow but they can be plucked/cut and start some new frags to hand out or sell. They are also one of the few corals that you never have to worry about...they just thrive no matter what. Kind of nice in a way. :)

I think button polyps look better than bare rock, so I'd just leave em, unless they're in prime frag location or are encroaching on something.
