Any idea what this could be?

Hey.noticed a small red dot with the surrounding area looking swollen and a bit more pale than the rest of the body. He's a yellow watchman goby. Eating fine and coming out still. My best guess is something bacterial. Wondering if anyone might know for sure. Thanks

The area around is swollen but it hasn't gotten any worse since I noticed it yesterday

My quess is internal parisites. Can you QT the fish? Imo prazi-pro is the best treatment for internal parisites.
If it's still eating, you've got a good chance to save it.
Is it new?

I've had him for about 4months. There's little chance of me catching him unless I tore down the entire tank.

Look at where his lateral line is..the red seems to be following the lateral line to mid way of the body.
