Any one using a sump to hold frags?

Thinking about installing a small led like par 38 under my 60 cube and using part of my sump to hold frags. Wondering if any one else is taking advantage of unused space in your sump.

Actually I think their is a quite of few people on this forum that do it. I don't but will be doing so in a coupe of months. I think that it's perfectly fine.

I have a nem and a large Duncan in my fuge with LED's.

do you grow much algae down there?

Yep... Lit by an older Maxspect LED fixture. Algae comes and goes. Seems like when algae grows in the fuge it doesn't grow in the DT.

Yep, My 150 gal Rubbermaid stock tank is my sump in the basement and a great frag tank with LEDs over it.

yea im using a 20 long as my sump and i keep a ton of extra frags down there lit by a few 10 watt ebay leds. im actually getting decent growth out of some lps lol. i also have a bunch of caulerpa down there as well it helps but not as much as i would like so i will be getting rid of it when i upgrade.
