Last week I got five Carberryi Anthias. Two came as males. All five are in the QT. I'm wondering if there is anyone who's had success keeping more than one male of the same species in a tank. They will reside in a 120g with lots of caves, rocks, and hiding places. They are truly stunning fish but if I need to sell one of them off, I will.
So far, I've observed no aggression between the males. The 3 females seem to have chosen one male over the other though. The QT is a 29g.

Carberryi aren't very aggressive, so it may work. Are you sure they're cayberryi?

Could you post a pic/image of what you know to be a true Cayberryi? Mine are supposedly Maldives. Do they look different from Africa to Sri Lanka?

What do you think? They don't have the yellow tails that I see in pictures. Are they just not fully mature yet or is this a different Anthias?

I think it depends on the fish itself really , I have 2 male & 3 female Carberryi Anthias , 2 male & 2 female Bartlett's Anthias , 1 male & 2 female Lyretail Anthias & all are doing GREAT , even grouping together , in 210 gal. tank . not a single problem also some are pretty large like 2to3in.
