Just like the question above states. I have a Reefkeeper that one of the wires has pulled loose inside the male connector so I'm looking to see if anybody has the crimping tool and ends to redo this.

The connector should have stayed on...
Did the connector pull off?
Otherwise, an RJ45 cable crimper should do.
GiulianoM;892605 wrote: Ok, should be an easy fix.
Either I can do it, or McPhock... I have some time in the next few days, though I'm out next weekend.

You up to doing that repair?
The solder pads are on the back of the board, and are labeled with color codes to match a standard Ethernet cord.
GiulianoM;893291 wrote: So, as it turns out... Reefkeeper LITE</em>s use a RJ12 jack, a 6-pin phone jack connector similar to the standard RJ11 phone cord...
Different than the RK2 display module I fixed...
And it looks like someone tried to solder on a replacement cord on this one before, the solder joints on the back of the board are a bit messy.

There's a chance this is factory wiring, but it doesn't look like it...
porpoiseaquatics;893327 wrote: I don't think it is because I opened my other RKL and just like you said....it was hot glued for reinforcement and it has 6 different colored wires whereas that one only has 3 different colors even though it's 6 wires.
