Anyone have experience with IOAOI 80g HOB Skimmer?

I've been considering this skimmer. It was suggested by someone else here at one point.




Of course, the lower price compared to the Tunze Comline DOC 9004 is a plus, but honestly, thing big thing that wins me over is that it has a drain tube for the collection cup that the Tunze inexplicably does not.

Does anyone have actual direct experience with one of these? The quality of the reviews (not necessarily the rating of the item) is in some cases is iffy, and I'm generally hesitant to buy things from Chinese companies whose name is just a random assortment of capital letters. Amazon's return policy helps, but... I don't want to bother with it if it's not actually any good, or annoyingly loud.

Nice, thank you! I really wasn't keen on the lack of drain on the Tunze. Sure, it'd probably sit a bit lower, and I guess it would match the aesthetic of the tank better, being black instead of white, but between the price difference, and the aforementioned lack of a drain tube kinda settles it for me. I imagine once I'm sure I've got it pretty well tuned, I'll just run a line to a 2-liter bottle... though on reflection, I should probably still empty it at the valve and then close it again, lest I wind up forgetting about it too long and overfill the bottle, since I don't have a sump in this tank and have no other reason to be underneath it.
