I am going to school for Zoology/Biology.
Along the way, we have to do Undergrad/Graduate research.
I would like to do research to help advance the hobby. Who knows it might get funded! lol.
I believe there are many good ideas on here, so speak up!
(Its biological study so even doing something on the microscopic scale would be good.)
SO, If you could fund a research study to help aquarist/the reef what would it be?
The ideas I have are:
*the effect of natural (changing)vs artificial light cycles (constant) on coral growth
*effect of temperature on coral growth
*Wild harvested coral VS aquacultured coral growth rates
*Breeding Seahorses/Clownfish with regard to either the diet or light cycles or environment.
*Bryopsis elimination :lol2:
