saw this in Petco and I'm wondering whether or not it's photosynthetic. has anyone heard of it before? it's got a purple body with brownish polyps

Not photosynthetic; very few gorgonians are from my understanding. They eat small micro life out of the water. Not a fan of petco.
oh don't get me wrong. i was only there to get some pet supplies and i stopped by to look.
