I just setup the Hydor Smart Level ATO. It's more basic than the Auto Aqua Smart ATO, but it's a little cheaper too. It worked just fine. I'd let it eval more than normal to make sure I could see it work today. If it pumps for ten minutes it shuts off the pump and alarms. I use a Tom's aqua lifter so it pumps nice and slow but fast enough that it won't hit the 10 minute limit. I'll try to watch it tomorrow and time how long it runs.
Hydor is pretty specific about sizing the ATO pump correctly. If it pumps too fast it will alarm because it overfills. Too small and you'll hit the 10 min mark. Hopefully it holds up. I like that it has no mechanical floats that it's depending on.
And a bonus! Woot woot! 1,000 posts!
