Australian Tusk Fish

Mine acts like it can't see very well. It reacts a bit to movement outside the tank but it's aim when eating is horrible or something.

It acts like it uses it's sense of smell to find food vs looking at it then eating it. It jabs a couple times before finding a silverside that is just sitting there in front of his face.

Anyone have this fish and care to comment on it's behavior compared to mine?

Mine has no problem seeing food. It goes directly for it & takes it down in seconds.

It definately sees out of the tank too as it reacts to movement.
