Bactria Driven ? Supplements ?

OK, So I want to try introduce carbon dosing / bacteria .. that sort of thing into my SPS system.

There are numerous systems out there...

prodibio
zeovit..

several others.

I really don't want to have to use a reactor , like with the zeovit system.

What would you guys recommend? Have you used any? I've used prodibio with good results, but I got lazy with it... and havent reordered in a while.

Thoughts? Suggestions?
OH .. I KNOW its NUTS, but vodka dosing is out. I DON'T have a problem with it, but I actually live in a DRY COUNTY... and being a minister I would be thrown over the bridge if someone saw me buying vodka haha.:doh:

Ok the bio pellets and vodka pellets are the carbon source correct?

I still need a "bacteria".

ALSO, you know, I don't see why I can't come up with a DIY zeo reactor. The concept is REALLY REALLY simple...

Anyone seen any threads on this kind of thing?

Biopellets and Microbacter 7 is the method I use currently. Thought about adding Prodibio in future, to vary bacteria strains.

The thing I DO like about bp, or so it is advertised, is that the bacteria actually activates it, so that there is very little chance of OD.

I use the elos filtra m and I used to use the rb 10 and 20. I now use the same elos media buy switched to brightwell micro Bacter 7 and bio fuel. The corals love it. I've tried it with and without a reactor. I used to just out the media in a bag and throw it btw the baffles in the sump and that worked fine. So it's whatever u prefer.
