No I don't think I'm going to have to replace carpet drywall but I just put down laminate floor and I'm scared there's water underneath of it

No offense taken She will be alright she's just seven months pregnant And everything we post goes to her email so she only knows What we are saying but has not seen it yet and i already have everything cleaned up

Well I guess your pregnant wife and my pregnant wife can complain about fish tanks when I stop by.lol.

At least the damage wasn't too bad. Hate you have to re-lay the laminate, but, it could've been worse...

Best of luck..... Let us know tomorrow if you are still alive...

How much water actually spilt ? If it wasn't the whole tank and if you have a shop vac you can probably save your floor just keep running the shop vac over the floor I have seen it work on more than one occasion. I tell my fiancée I could be doing a lot worse things than messing with a fish tank lol good luck man

So true. I tell mine that she should be glad that I have a hobby that keeps me at home instead of out in the streets around questionable company all day and nignt.

As mad a she sounds, he may need the lotion for something else.

yesterday I flooded an inch in the hallway downstairs (linoleum) , under the wall and into the carpet of the adjacent rooms, but luckily it was freshwater. I decided when I woke up I would take a nice bath on my day off.. and then went upstairs to find pancakes and forgot. One of the most useful things to own is a Rug Dr pro. they can really suck up some water. Still worried about the baseboard/drywall though

Heres what I'm wondering.. does your house smell like it was dunked in the ocean?

If all this blows over remind me to tell you about the time I ran to the basement and turned on the RO/DI filter and didn't notice that the waste water line had become disconnected. The filter ran overnight (12 hrs) before I checked on it. Talk about a indoor pool! I found the low spots in the cement pretty easy after that.

However, my better half didn't find out about that on! I imagine the response would be pretty similar.
