Lmao! Men, hope the best for you, I have to deal with the wife before about the 150 that I had to sell due to that disliked from her, I hope you can make a better overflow design and keep your tank. And your life!

Heres what I'm wondering.. does your house smell like it was dunked in the ocean?

No it's good for now and I hope it stays that way

Just so you guys know my wife has been very understanding and she is rolling laughing at you guys and you comments

You could always rent a few blowers from a tool rental place if you're worried about it. I'm glad she's laughing, I would have been posting this from the emergency room.

In a few days when the edges of the wood curls up that's what I'm going to the emergency room

Just tell her you were testing a theory for her sake and it worked. You have now proven that salt water will curl things and therefore she can wash here hair in water change water and won't have to spend all that time with the curling iron. "Just thinking of you dear". :-)

Just now getting a chance to read through this...if you need any help, give me holler, John. There's lots of us here in the area than I'm sure can lend a hand if you need it.

Glad to hear the Mrs. is taking it in stride, that's VERY important!

John. Wait a minute, just the other day you told me you were gonna add that new piece of equipment you bought from me for $150. But I told you it will make a mess when you put it on.

So now that it made a mess, what were you afraid of? The wife being mad about the wet floor (so you took the piece of equipment back off, double whammy). Or just that you spent the money?

Lol. Only giving you a hard time. Welcome to reefing while married.

Lol yeah I hear you I was showing my wife Dave's 465 and she was like he can't be married

John, I'm glad to see that you are still alive and with us, looks like it was touch and go there for a little while. Diasters like this around when your better half is pregnant can scary( mine is 9 months). I'm about to move a 120 gallon to a new spot in the living room and don't really want her to see what damage ( if any) is under it. Yes I've had SEVERAL leaks. At least I've got 3 boxes of spare laminate, I hope that covers. I'll be glad to snap a pic to show you what damage might look like. Knowing my wife, we'll probably get new flooring pretty soon anyway ;-)

Yes we have found this pretty humorous too and no, this is the third child. my wife says this is the last one, she's tired of being pregnant....and my fish tank overflowing on her brand new floors doesn't help her nerves lol.

Yeah I would like to see the picture. The bigger the damage, the bigger the next tank has to be to cover it up!! Best of luck!
