I'm about create my 3rd reef but this time it's going to 100 gallons. So I'm looking for the best places to get pods and what are some good quality pods? I have recently bought Tigger Pods for my 20g and my 60g. Is there anything better out there?

I've noticed that you have the dosage per gallon but when should I add the phyto? At the same time and is it before/during/after the cycling process? I use Turbo 900 and go by the fish in cycle.Dinkins Aquatic Gardens Copepods Phytoplankton Amphipods

I would wait till the tank is cycled before adding any pods/phyto. When I add pods I remove filter socks for 12-24 hours. As cfar as dosing phyto I dont know if it matter when. I use to dose every evening because it was convenient

Honestly, amazon has been good for pods for me haha! sounds crazy but they ship quick when in a pickle

Bulldawg reef is local to GA. They are in Carterville and have great pods and phyto

I too have heard great things about them and their phyto and pods. Just with me between working 6 days a week and then dealing with my breeding business, I just forget to look things up and order somethings from these local guys.

Bulldawg Reef. Pods a lot of them healthy and swimming. Phyto very dense and lots of different blends. Owner is very helpful as well. I am lucky enough to be 30 mins away so i do porch pickups, but he ships fast as well.
