Bills Crystal Dynamic Aquarium 225 gal tank upgrade

I've only spoken with him once. Was nice enough at the time.

As far as I know we have not had any issues but he no longer responds to PM's or emails.
I talk to him on the phone every once and a while. He really is a great person. Even staff members argue and disagree.

A good reason to use 1 return pump over 2, though the redundancy is a plus, is that fact that your sump is not really capable of housing 2 return pumps. I constantly deal with microbubbles because I shoehorned 2 pumps into a return section that was built for 1. I have to keep my water level higher than I like to keep the breaking of the water from the 2nd section of my sump to the return section of my sump. I have to do this to keep microbubbles from entering the return pumps and into my DT. With a single pump I trust, I will not have to do this, THUS, me going with Abyzz.

I would like to go with an Abyzz A200, as it will cost me far less, BUT, I will look at the deals on Black Friday to see which way I go.

Has anyone looked at their tank, and looked at their fish swimming around and said, YEA, this is perfect!!! I just looked at my tank, and the fish swimming around and truly enjoyed the movement of the tank. Is this the bliss we reefers are looking for? To see the fish swim around and fight over dominance, it is such a incite to what actually happens in the ocean.

Most things in life are beautiful for a moment in time. The secret to life is to recognize these moments over the other 98% of the time when things are struggling
LOL, well I spent the weekend scrubbing rock with a toothbrush to clean out GHA and remove some Cyano starting up. Didn't like it much while I was working but love it now again :p

Tested N03 and P04 today. No3 is at 10.7 ppm and P04 is at .06. I dosed 50 ml of NeoNitro to the tank. I am really liking how the tank is starting to turn out. I can truly see that the algae is receding and the coraline algae is overtaking it.

Sad to see that one of the owners of TSM Aquatics, Matt Ferroni, passed away a few days ago. He truly loved this hobby and finding ways to bring QT'd fish to reefers at a affordable price. He has 3 children, and one on the way, truly sad to say the least.😢

I went down to Orlando to take my Mom out for Thanksgiving, while down there, I was able to go to one of my favorite stores during a actual Black Friday sale. I went to Living Reef Orlando. I talked to the owner Alex, and his wife Ann, who I do know, and had a blast. I feel Living Reef Orlando has not fallen in love with their name yet, unlike WWC and TSA. I was able to purchase a few of my favaorite frags that they have. One of which is the LRO Buzz Lightyear. The frag is pretty darn big. In truth, givin a few more months, it would be 3 frags. Behind it is the LRO South Beach.

The photo was taken several hours after dipping it in Bayer.

I received my Abyzz pump yesterday. Its almost comical the size of the box it came it. I guess they figure if you pay that much for the pump we, at least, need to package it right...LOL!!!

This is how Abyzz packages their bad boy, and NOW, MY BAD BOY!!!

Opening this thing up makes me want to do the complete return change out tomorrow, LOL!!! I still need at least 1 more GHL flow sensor to make it happen, so its a no go.
