Biocube 29 LEDs?

Just wondering if anyone here has installed LED's in their Biocube 29 hood. If so, any chance you'd be willing to share a parts list or DIY? Strongly considering it for my BC.. I'm so happy with the LED's I got for my 72 that I'd love to put something on my BC.

Bubonic - thanks a ton! I knew nano tuners went out of business and I wasn't aware of that site.. I'll definitely think about it.

Amici - Do you have links for what you're talking about? I've never done any LED work but I'm sure I could figure it out.. electronics just make sense to me..

I went with the dimmable kit from rapidled and controller. it was easy to put together. You will need a screwdriver, solder, soldering pen, and multimeter. The kit includes everything else. I have pics in my profile album of how the light looks. Just an fyi my splash guard is faded and cracked. I will post new pics when the new splash guard arrives.

Thanks to everyone for their info. I'm seriously contemplating redoing everything about my biocube - more flow (probably just powerheads - can't fit a bigger return pump in there - it's already been upgraded but running through a chiller), better lighting (LED preferably) and I'm probably going to completely redo my aquascape which means I'll have coral for sale... a few different types of zoas (+/-50 polyps eagle eye, +/-20 LOTR, +/-10 blue tubbs, 10 watermelon, +/-50 some other random type), a frogspawn (5-7 heads), Kenya Tree and pretty large GSP (on a 10lb rock).

Will need to decide what I want to do and post a sale thread about it later... maybe that will help fund my lighting, lol.

Yeah i just took all the PC stuff out and Cut two holes in the top for the Cords. Works awesome! Come see it bro!

Interesting.. and it fit well? Doesn't tough the water or anything?

It fits perfect! Still has the Cover from the Pc bulbs! I could deff get more Par without it but i like the Protection of the Splash guard

I'll throw in another plug for the rapidled kit. I've had mine in since August or September and love it. I think they might have a solderless or near solderless kit out there now.

I did the Aquastyle online dimmable LED for the Biocube 29 for $134 to my door and absolutely love it. I have a few SPS and a clam and all are health.
