Birdsnest question please help

so i got a bids nest frag about 2 inches tall.... had a small catastrophe in my tank and the water drained out until the tips of the birds nest were exposed to the air... since then the two tips of the branches that were expose have died off the tips about 1/4 inch down other branches are doing fin and there is growth from the bottom of the plug

my question is do i try to cut those tips off ot just leave them? will they ever come back ? will it be stunted on the growth?

please help

I would cut the dead tips off...but thats just me!

I would leave it alone until it heals enough to cut it.

I have cut the dead tips off and sometimes where I cut them two branches will grow back, not always, this has been with my green birdnest.

do u cut them in the tank as to not take them outa the water?
