So I bought an LED light system in July of last year. The blues have decided to stop working altogether, and I don't know much about repairing or fixing LEDs. The unit is 55x3W 1:1 white/blue, independently dimmable, with Epistar chips. I would love to get the blues working again, and I am about to start researching, but figured some one might be able to push me in the right direction. Thanks.

Oh yeah, when I try to turn them on the blues flick on for a split second...that might help narrow the issue down.

good point Barry. I forgot that I had one do the same thing. The easiest way for me to tell was that the chips before it still lit. Only those after it didn't. Switching ballasts will also give an idea.

OK...I'm sorry that I made this thread and then vanished...just got back from a long island camp trip. I'm about to upgrade to a bigger tank with different lighting, so I'll just wait until then and try to check my ballasts and see what I'm looking at.

Thanks guys.
