Bubble Magus Curve 5 vs Eshopps S-120

These are two of the skimmers that will fit my skimmer compartment of my Eshopps rs-75 sump. If you had to chose between the two, which would you chose?

I have a bubble Magnus ANC 7 on my 175 cube and I love it. Small foot print but can handle a big bio load tank

The curve 5 has 4.5 stars out of 5 with 36 reviews at marine depot. It looks like they are the same price. If it were me, I would try the BM. I have had a few eshoppes skimmers and always felt like I could have done better. For that reason I would try the BM, which I have no experience with.

I have a Curve 5 and have bee pleased with it so far. Its quiet, well designed and sturdy, and has been doing a very good job with very little break in period for me. Caveat: this is only my second skimmer so my experience is a but limited. GL!

Well , I was able to pick up a Reef Octopus 150 sss for $175, so I went that route. This will be my first Reef Octopus skimmer so we will see how it goes.
