Build: Red Sea P500

Also an update: my diatom bloom is slowing going away. Not sure if it is ever worth greasing my o-rings again. took months to get rid of all this diatoms.

FWIW- GE says you might try vegetable oil.
Yes, it's thin & may not last as long. But, it has no fumed silica in it either, which may have contributed to the diatoms. See link below..

Can’t seem to drop my nitrates. I have two Vertex 2.5 reactors sitting around so I am going to put some matrix in there and run it low flow. Hopefully this and the vodka dosing it gets my nitrates below 10.

doing a test run with no cement, only pvc tape. Been running an hour and no leaks so far.

Rearranged my sump to move the skimmer up front and easier to access for maintenance. Its the little things.

also, picked up a nice dual stage regulator (thanks to @york1) to swap my carbon doser as my primary regulator. Ordered some nylon washers.

Looking good, I forgot to look under the hood when I was there !
What’s that Red Sea stuff you dosing? Nopox?

2 months after setting up the low flow reactors and my nitrates are down to 10ppm.

I have two HW that I put in different spots and the one under direct harsh lighting is coloring up nicely.

Also, this orange passion under blues is just hot.
