Part of my upgrade to my 125 included switching from a RKL to a RKE. Currently I am running the reactor with a Milwaukee SMS122 pH Controller. I have it because on my last setup I was out of expansion room on the RKL. Now I have the option to use the RKE to monitor and control the reactor CO2. If you had the choice which would you choose?

Hrrmmm... Good question, but if you decide to part with the pH controller, I'd like dibs at the right price :D

Use your controller. One leas plug and one leas thing to worry about. Reef keepers are pretty good IMO. I run my reactor with the reef keeper 2 which is a Dino and it still keeps my params stable. So I'm sure the elite will be just as good if not better.

I use the sl2 to run my reactor and the sl1 to monitor the display, kind of dumb but keeps me feeling easy about it

Nothing dumb about that.

More questions. Do I use 2 SL1's or a SL1 and a SL2? The SL1 gives me pH and ORP. Adding a SL2 I would get an additional pH and salinity. Has DA fixed the salinity probe issue?

Its really your choice, depending on what you want to run. They have released the new salinity probe but im not sure it is working correctly as I only know of a couple people to try it out. I will probably purchase it once i move to my new system.
