Hi
Got a peice of chalice from Tim @ keen reef a few days ago but I'm unsure what kind it is. Can anyone tell me please? Its super sharp with lots of thorn like growths & dark burgundy in color.

Not a good pic, but I saw those at Tim's too. I don't think they really have a "marketing" name though.

Yes, awful pic lol.. my cell phone takes the worst pics ever! Me & my son got the last brighter colored peice & split it. Sure hope it makes it!

Iirc they do have a name cause me and my buddy that went with me was asking bout them but i can't remember what it was now

Well at least I dont feel alone now since I can't remember the names of what we ended up getting lol.. I got lost going up there & was in a hurry to get back home.

Oh no don't feel bad at all i got like 20 things when i went by there and can only name like 2 of them lol

Lol that's pure genious right there! Hey, if it keeps turning white it would be one of the really rare ones.. Then we can call it snowman chalice lol

It is really stressed but hopefully it will come back. I got cut pretty good fragging it & it slimed all over the place so there's hope

Anytime you frag a coral and immediately move it to a new system, you increase the chance of death. I always keep frags in my system for a minimum of 2 weeks after cutting to allow time to heal. Hope it pulls through.

Tim

It's looking alot happier today. I think it's going to be fine but from now on I will definitely keep that in mind
