Can plate corals come back?

A couple of weeks ago I lost my green plate coral.
This morning I woke up ans saw little individual polyps in it, it almost looks like he's coming back from the dead. What is happening??

Yes they can come back........ Just leave it and you will have a few more. There have been a few recent threads about plate corals and how they come back. I have eight of different sizes in my tank and started with one. They are great corals to keep.
