I've noticed latly that I have a slite green coloration to my water. It's not noticable inthe tank at all, I only notice thisis the waste water from water changes. I have been thinking that I should use some carbon in the filter cycle to polish the water and clear this up.

thoughts ?

Agree with the carbon, not with the UV Serilizer.

An ozone generator would be the optimal solution, IMO. If my ozone turns off for a few days, I can definitely notice a tinge to my water when looking longways through the 7' tank. If my UV goes off, then no change.

Thanks Chris. BTW, frags seem to be doing well. nice polyp etension. Still waiting for them to color up, but they seem to be happy.
