Not sure I spelled that correctly. I purchased a Leng Si coral from another member. It had some good green color at the time. It has since began to fade. Is there a particular lighting requirement? Water quality requirement such as higher calcium numbers? Flow requirements? I don't believe it's dead but would like to see if it will brighten back up. I have an assortment of lighting over the 93. T5's come on in the morning then my twin 250mh (1-10k, 1-20k bulb) kicks on for 4 hours in mid-day. They kick back off at 4 pm and the T5's (2-actinics, 2-10k) remain on for another 4 hours. Total photo period is 11 hours. Calcium is running around 450 with an ALK of 4.0. All other params are normal (0 for Nitrates, Nitrites, Ammonia, Phosphates; pH 8.3; Mg 1500). I had it about midway in a 24" tank. Sorry, can't get a good pic of it to post.

The months I had almost completely turned whites when they came over to my new tank. It be just settling in.

Jeff-I keep mine under a 6 blub T5's, on about 11 hrs, close to the top. Could you MH be bleaching it out? Cal is the same in my tank. Could you move it into an area of the tank that has a little less light, just to see if that could help? Could it be coral warfare? :D Holley

Thanks Holley.....I've moved it to my frag tank which is not very tall, has a 2 bulb T5 and a set of LED's over it. I'll see if that will help. Good possibility that the MHs were just to much for it. I'm suspecting that's my issue with all of my Monti-type corals that haven't done well. Haven't been able to keep a single piece of Red/Orange Monti but my Purple is doing very well. Go figure.

I have alot of different caps and they all seem to want different lighting to get the correct colors. The ling si is the hardest for me

would i able to keep one with 6x 54W t5ho bulbs? 55G tank

I just got three pieces myself a week ago. I've got them at three different heights in the tank. I want to see where they like it best. So far, the one highest up seems to have the best color. (Using AI lighting) Oh, and using a fairly high flow.
