Changing Skimmers - Need Advice

These are all good points. Thanks for everyone's help. I think I'm going to stick with the MR2. My water quality is excellent, I think the snail population might thin out eventually. As long as it's clean it skimms like crazy. I might downsize the pump.

Maybe I'll use the money and start my LED build instead.

instead of downsizing the pump, why not use it to run a couple reactors.. ?
