There were a couple of things I wanted when I first got into the hobby - one was an elegance and the other was a clam.
I'm not one to make excuses, but I honestly think the first elegance died because it was going to die regardless.
So hopefully, this one comes in OK. I like my odds because its supposedly cultured, but its also being shipped ( I hear they don't ship well?) so maybe its a wash.
I don't have the courage to do a clam yet. Plus I'm scared of how much calcium they'll suck up.

I feed these guys everyday with reef roids.
They all seem to be doing well and putting on polyps but the date night is really starting to take off.

...not the most fortuitous start but I'll still remain hopeful...
Elegance came today...I’m not sure what to make of it. It honestly looks very freshly cut. I emailed the seller and he said it was cut about 3 weeks ago.
