I'm looking at lighting options for my 75, and I'm trying to save as much $$ as possible.

Option 1 - 2 of these 175's, and the 2 x 24" VHO setups I already have. I'd need ballasts ($80), sockets for the MH - ($20) and bulbs ($150), as well as new VHO bulbs ($40) = $250 Total wattage 500

Option 2, 6 T5's. Ballasts (used - $60) and 6 bulbs - ($120) and 12 endcaps ($60) = $240 Total wattage 324

I plan on keeping a mixed tank. I'd finally like a clam or three, and some nice SPS as well. I've currently keeping a toadstool leather, kenya tree, some zoo's, zenia and a BTA.

Whatcha think?
