The high pressure line might be way too thin for this...

maybe we can get a saddle valve just for the low side the larger tube. If we pull a vacume and put the proper amount in It will work, do you have any electrical diagram with it. Checking the high side would be pointless b/c if its screwed it would prob need a new compressor and your not willing to spend that

thats not the valves i was looking at, see if you can figure out the diameter of the lines plzz

No electrical diagram, except some pics I took of the wiring so when I took the cover off to paint it I could put them all back in the right spot.

If I raise the set temp up above the current temp (which is only off by about 2 degrees), it shuts off, so I assume it's working correctly.

Do I need to measure the diameter of the pipe?

If you can't find one it's not a huge deal, I'll just have to find a tech to take care of it.

Problem is in this college town, all the "professionals" think mommy and daddy are picking up the checks for the college students, where as I'm on my own...they will try to shaft anyone for a premium price...

but that one can be "relatively" easily cut and a valve put on it.. can't it?

a tubing cutter would be involved i think i have one somewhere and then a torch i have that but I've never brazed anything hmmmm wheres andy on this

why dont they put a freakin valve on them in the first place, Its the MAN trying to hold us down
