Well chances are that if it had parasites in it and there are no fish in it for a while then the parasites are gone.

ya never know bro. i'll use the vinegar. what strength should i make it?
 
I used 4 gallons and filled the rest up with tap water in my 120 and let it sit for a few days.

vinegar has no noteworthy antibacterial properties(we cook with it). good for cleaning hard water stains, not sanitizing something.
