Cloudy Water

My water has been cloudy the past 2 days. I havent done anything differnet other than adding a anemone a week ago. any idea what it might be? Im stumped...

Nope. It has great color and the foot is attached... But its the olny thing I can think of. I won't see the tank until monday morning, so I'm hoping all is well.

cloudy water is usually 1 of 3 things....

1. sand? pumps aimed? disturbance?
2. precip? parems?
3. bacteria plume/explosion=death if not corrected asap

I did change the angle a few degrees on one of the power heads, but I find that hard to believe it would cause it. what would cause a bacteria plume?

how old is your tank?

9 months, maybe older.

I did a water change a few days ago and cleaned my 2 media reactors (phosgard and carbon). Both reactors had a nasty film in them. I change the media every other week. I cleaned them thoroughly, put new media back in and now the water cleared up in 2 days. What would cause this?
