clown question.

ok i have a question. its my understanding that if you have 1 clown its a male. if you add another the biggest of the two will become female.
correct? ok so what happens to the female if the male is removed? does the clown stay female, or go back to being a male?

The female is the more dominant one, so it should stay female since it will be the more dominant and only one in the tank. If another is added it's best to add a smaller one

Clowns are actually neither sex, Once a pair is established the more dominant one will become Female and the less dominant becomes Male. If the Female were to die and the male were to pair up again and become the dominant one it will become female. Once becoming Female, they can not Revert back to male.
