Clown swiming funny?

I have a new clown that has been fine for 5 days,this morning I noticed that he was swimming funny,a bit vertical.So this morning a checked my water parameters and they are in check!I think I may have over fed the fish yesterday.Im only 4 months old in the hobby so all input will help.TY Chris

The expects here are gonna ask for your exact water params, and then they're gonna ask what kind of test kit you're using.

I wouldn't worry about overfeeding the fish, except from a waste standpoint; most of them have really fast metabolisms, so if you fed the fish yesterday, it's almost certain to have pooped it all out already.

Is he doing this constantly? If not, my clowns swim every which way but upside down. I'm still waiting on that to happen like the LFS told me!

aside from asking for your paramaters.....give em a really good visual inspection for any parasites or disease. Is he in your QT set up now? or did you do what some of us do and tossed him in your display after purchase?

Thank goodness,hes doing fine!My ph is the only thing a little off,its a bit low so I used some buffer this morning.It was the only fish in the tank when I bought him and think maybe he was under feed.I dropped to much food in yesterday and right after he was at the top of the water,very high.Im very happy the fish is doing well today!I only have 4 fish in the 60 and only add 1 at a time.ARC is the best thing I have found when comes to my salt water tank,yall rock.Any more input will help seeing how Im in to all I can learn about my new hobby,TY Chris

My false perc in my 24g pod stays vertical in a corner at night. He used to have a nem but I removed it and ever since he goes to the front left corner at night swimming vertical. It is normal for him! Also I've seen him swim right at the top of the water, even so far up that the top of his head is out of the water, and have seen him on the sand and everywhere in between. Clowns are screwy like that.
