Clowns Anemone

I got two blk& white clowns and GBTA. The blk and whites have been together since birth and one is bigger than the other. Well my smaller male has now found the GBTA and now he will not let the female in the anemone!! Does this just happen or will he eventually let her in??

Mine are vise-verse, My female (Blk/Wht) clown host most of the time and if lucky she'll let him in from time to time... Mines are tank-bred and I had to "'coach" them on hosting at 1st... How long you had your clowns? Did you buy 'em together?

yeah its weird, yeah they been together since birth, i got them from Budsreef! so yeah they are tank raised. i just got the anemone like 3 weeks ago and this is the first time they had anything to do with it

Same here,from Bud's last breeding... I used the basket idea and it worked perfect... Good Luck...

I doubt he's keeping her out. It may appear that way, but keep in mind that she is the dominant one; the male is submissive. My pair "discovered" the anemone about a week apart. IMO she'll figure it out pretty soon.
