Got home from work yesterday and saw my pair of clowns hosting the starry night acro I picked up at the April meeting (large piece, maybe 6" in diameter with lots of branches). Woke up this morning and the whole coral was stark white; clowns are still hosting, won't leave the branches.

Just wondering if anyone has seen this before, I know it's not normal, and it figures that there's 15+ heads of hammer/frogspawn 10" away that they can have all to themselves, but no...that would be too easy...

lol, nice. Although I've never heard of hosting clowns killing SPS, I guess it could happen. My hippo tang slept in my starynight till it was too big to fit in the tight branches...never saw any ill effects. Sorry to hear that man.

So can I bleach this sps piece and break it up and stick it in the calcium reactor?

Oh, and 4,000th post! Boom!

Yeah you def could...just make sure you have it washed off enough so all the bleach is out of it. Probably could just crush it up and toss it in as is...the low pH should take care of whats on there anyways.
