Continuous Water Changes

I don't do continuous but I do a small amount every day. It's a small 24g tank so it's pretty easy. What I do is probably not very practical on a larger system though. My corals seem to love me very much for the stability.

This is the best article I've ever seen on continuous water changes:

I looked at doing it several times myself, but just don't trust any equipment enough to ensure that I won't end up with a mess on the floor...

there is a device sponsored on RC that DOES continuous changes. Its basically a dosing pump I think.

You just set how many gallons over what time period. You can do it all at once or over a period of time, from what I understand.

Liter meter, check it out. It's expensive but i have read all good things, it's setup so you purchase the base unit, like a reef keeper, then add the modules or attachments. Like the auto water change/ top off kit. Comes out to be somewhere in the 400$ range but all the folks I know that use it like it. They say their corals love it!! My plan was to purchase one in feb and use it to do a few gallon change daily, then do a 20% change bi monthly. Just to be safe. My corals
Love water changes!! They told me so!! Lol jk
