i have had an est. nano for sometime now and just recently put my first fish in, a pj cardinal.i have many types of zoas/palys/polyps, xenia, dead mans fingers and green start polyps and was interested in opinions on some reef friendly fish that are small, colorful and/or unsual. I really like the pearly jawfish and am interested in things like that that have a relationship with other creatures, ie pistol shrimp/goby, anenome.clown. Anyway just curious in everyones opinion.

I vote that you take out the cardinal. They get a pretty decent size. The pistol/goby combo is a better choice. The pistol'd like more room to dig, but he'll manage. Trimma/Eviota spp. are good. Tiny gobies. Hard to come by, but excellent nano fish. If you have a more expensive taste, try Discordipinna griessingeri</em>. Supposedly they're very cryptic, but are gorgeous.
