Coors and Power Tools Build 60 cube

First pic is of the stand with a primed to , so SW does not sink in, second is my daughter in the stand - if you look I put carpet on the sides and top to act as a noise suppressor, third pic is the front door.

first pic is stand unstained.

2nd pic is the inside , i added a shelf for the Closed loop pump , also if you look at the bottom of the stand i made it water tight using caulk. I have to admit the white caulk worked pretty good. I was able to work the caulk just how I wanted it to get the desired results. When i was done working the caulk I realized some of it got in my mouth YUCK! I had some black caulk but decided white would be better.

3rd pic is the stand stained , with ebony minwax stain.

I put a coat of poly over the stain, but it looks like it will need about 2 more coats

I still don't know how your going to fit that big a@# skimmer under that stand with the sump.

By the way it look quite different from when I saw it last week. It's looks good!!

I decide to pant the back and tacky wood plastic trim to all black.

Looks good, where in the LR are you planing on putting this? after you take the 90g down.

its actually going up before i take down the 90g, im putiting it up by the door. Once its up i can cherry pick all my good stuff out of the 90g

Nice piece too view as you come into the house. Make sure the skimmer is far enough away from an outlet or pwr strip. u know what I mean!!

Nice! I didn't know you were such a good woodworker. I'm impressed. I love the all black look as well.

That lighting rack though has to go man! You should just get that 250 watt halide pendant I was talking to you about. It would look so much cleaner and elegant. This is the one I'm talking about:

We can work out a trade :).

Chris, nice trim work!

Did you caulk the joints on the bottom to make it water proof? Linoleum is another good/cheap option. Although the boards look painted so hopefully that will keep them dry in case of a spill.

Hey Chris-I just saw CVS has 3-12 packs of CL for $10.00 heck of a deal--I don't drink the crap (CL) but I know you're big on it--just gonna let you know.
