Someone mentiond a great under water adhesive that is safe that can be urchased at HD/Lowe's. I cant remember the name and searched for it but came up empty handed. All I can remember is that it can be used under water, you have to turn your skimmer off, its reef safe, and it can be purchased at HD.... Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Go into the paint section and find the epoxy putty used for water repairs. It's in a tube and it's a 2 part putty log that you cut a piece off and knead until mixed. I picked up 2 kinds this last weekend JB Weld and some other brand which cures quicker (3 minutes). Pretty much any of these will work great. Some make my skimmer go nuts, but the last stuff I used which was the 3 minute kind worked great and didn't bother my skimmer.

and super glue as well, as mentioned...

+1 Yes, super glue gel is my choice by far.

If your trying to hold rock together or LARGE pieces of coral, epoxy is a second choice.

if you want to stick a frag plug ANYWHERE On your rock.. use super glue gel and epoxy.

spread glue around on bottom of plug. add a marble sized part of kneeded epoxy and mash it down...on the plug.

add more gel glue on the other side of the epoxy and then take the whole thing and press it onto your rock. you can hang stuff upside down this way if you want.

I usually put the glue on out of the water, but I do it under water when I have to. Works, no problem. Make sure you use the Gel and not the liquid

the JB water weld is worthless....it will crumble within just a few days and you'll find your 150$ coral sitting on the sandbed the next morning mostly dead...(yea it happened to me once)....get a regular epoxy stick, and as many of the loctite super glue gel tubes you can find(the ones in the black tube worked well IME....the blue ones are also good....

Lol really another member recommended that to me and it works great
